I served my mission in Russia where nearly every tomato I met was an heirloom. I, foolishly, judged them by their distinct and one-of-a-kind shape but once a slice was in my mouth I repented of jumping to unfair conclusions.

i think i'm in love. i think they're asking to be sliced and placed on a toasted piece of marble rye with a bit of cream cheese and sea salt.
