niner.

nine years together.

I wish I could say something poetic, like "you are the red to my rose"

or something thoughtful, like "think of all the roads we traveled together"

or something involving nausiating nicknames and baby talk, like "I wuv wu schmoopy poo"

but all I got is....

Holy Crap.

NINE YEARS!! How??? When??! 

Wow.

I love how we celebrate so fancy.

Like how we slept in on some romantic island where the breeze blows gently through the window.

 .....nope, we got up early and ran stairs together while the kids played on the track and ran with us.

We then had a fancy dinner prepared by our chef (me) in the courtyard (lawn) while the nanny tended the kids. Oh wait, they were right there with us. We slurped spaghetti, sharing a noodle until  our lips met--er--that's Lady and the Tramp. We had fish tacos loaded with garlic and onions and all that romantic stuff. The butler (you) then did the dishes. 

We hired a professional photographer (he's 6), to take our pictures.

But I really like all that stuff.
We like it simple.

I like how we are so the same, and so different--how we even make our heart shaped different in the photo....but still connected at both ends, and that's what counts.
