friday love

this post is brought to you buy the color yellow.
This week has been perfect! We've spent hours outside, we've traced our hands and made turkeys, we had a little boy who got a first report card!
aaannnnnd I have a super fun project I'm working on today that I can't wait to share!
And it's the weekend which means I finally get to hang out with my husband....HOORAY!

I love to eat, and I love San Francisco so can you help me combine the two?
Me and my girls are looking for some good local eats....nothing fancy...just good and, well, good.

Just went to SF for the first time, and when I travel I'm all about some "good eats." So my recommendations would be to try Pacific Catch (2027 Chestnut), Tartine (you absolutely have to go here...amazing! 600 Guerrero) and you must go to Ferry Marketplace, get some cheese from Cowgirl Creamery, bread from Boudin and take a picnic to Crissy Field if the weather's nice. Hope this helps! LOVE your blog! I showed your "never nudes" post to all my friends last week...

You can thank me later.

Take yer windbreaker! SF in Nov is chilly.

I also suggest you drive outside the city and just hit the fruit stands.

Hi!
I live in San Francisco and am so excited you are coming to check out the city! So many yummy things to eat ...

Tartine Bakery (so so amazing! coconut creme pie, eclair, chocolate croissant, ham and cheese croissant!) @ 18th and Guerrero. Get it to-go and go and eat at Dolores Park (18th and Dolores)

Bi-Rite Market (right down the block from Tartine on 18th, a beautiful tiny grocery) They also have incredible soft serve.

For tacos ... Taqueria Cancun (19th and Mission St) Super shrimp burrito

An indian dive - Darbar (Polk and Pine St) so good and super cheap -- dinner for 2 for $15

For delicious local and pork ... Nob Hill Grille (Hyde and Pine)

Samovar Tea Lounge in Yerba Buena Garden is also a really nice relaxing spot

And of course, the Ferry Building. Beautiful architecture, beautiful food, Thursday/Saturday farmers market.

Also, you are welcome to stop by our place for a bite! ;)

I highly recommend outerlands in the outer sunset. My sister lives right down the street from this place and it's so good! http://outerlandssf.com/
I've read your blog for a while and from what I see of your recipes and the food you like to eat I think you will definately like it.

I live in Australia and the family and I are stopping over in San Fran for a couple of days at the end of the month I would love some advice on good accommodation for a family of 5.

I love Lisa Mitchell. Did you know that she was discovered on Australian Idol. Luckily she didn't win and went on to record her own wonderful songs.
